At Golden Versatility, our story isn’t just about what we do — it’s about family, resilience, and the unexpected turns that can lead to something meaningful.

We are a family-run business proudly operating out of Waterloo, Ontario, built during a season of life that challenged us in ways we never anticipated. After securing daycare for our son more than a year in advance, those plans unexpectedly fell through at the very last minute. With child care suddenly unavailable, Alison was unable to return to her job right away, and out of that necessity, Golden Versatility was born. 

We’ve always had a deep love for Golden Retrievers, and that passion played a big role in shaping who we are today. Our beloved Oakley — loyal, joyful, and endlessly inspiring — isn’t just our family dog. Oakley is our teammate in life and in sport. We’ve competed together, learned together, and laughed together and he became a huge source of inspiration for this business. Oakley embodies everything we admire in Goldens: loyalty, joy, adaptability, and heart. Oakley’s spirit is woven into everything we do and that pride is reflected in our products that we wholeheartedly stand behind.
